I picked up Ear Bleeding Country, their greatest hits album after hearing I'm Insane. I fell in love immediately, then followed it up with YLAOM via a friendly reference. Those are the only two I own, but love them both. I'm feeling like I shall dive more into them.

It`s an album that sounds flat and where the soul of the band seems to have been sucked out of them to please the record company!!! The earlier EP was much better.

Yeah, Superfuzz Bigmuff was much better in my honest opinion. Its the only Mudhoney I still actively listen to. Although I rarely listen to it, when I'm in the mood it gets a spin.

/Back on Topic;

What does everyone think about Dinosaur Jr's newest stuff?

Early Mudhoney had a real Iggy Pop & the Stooges proto punk style of energy to their work that as time went by they quickly lost in favour of a more blander sound. In fact the only two albums of their whole output that I think were good were "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge" and "My Brother the Cow"

I`ve only recently got into listening Dinsoaur Jr after not having listened to them in a looong time. Stand out albums are "You`re Living All Over Me" "Bug" and "Where You Been" Maybe its because on these albums the Neil Young and Crazy Horse influence on the guitar work of both Mascis and Barlow is very evident.

Dinosaur jr. brief reign as my new fav band is over. it lasted from yesterday morning to about 1/2 an hour ago when I decided Green mind was **** apart from the wagon. From now on i'm just going to listen to Bug and The Wagon and not even bother with any of the other stuff i was going to bother with.

I think there are a few songs scattered about all of their 90s albums that are quality.

Their debut is pretty good, and I assume you've heard their last two...
