Prog-pop would be more accurate methinks. Quite spectacular. Especially For Agent 13 and And you lied to me. Fucking sonic.

Probably at the same time that, er, IndieShotYou wrote his OP, I downloaded this track from the Besnard Lakes Are The Dark Horse album:-



They have a difficult-to-place style, so I'm pleased to've at last found what music category they appear under, but I still haven't decided how much I like them. Does anyone else, apart from adidasss the croatian, listen to these guys?

Apparently not! And I have to say if I hadn't seen that I'd posted here, I wouldn't have remembered that I listened to them at some point. I'm just now relistening to the songs I mentioned above and I still think they're cool but yeah, probably don't really stick in your memory. They remind me a bit of Sigur ros. I guess they continued to have a career even after ...Dark horse but I just didn't pay attention. :/
