The Noisettes
 

Anyone here heard of them? I saw them in the bill for the Manchester International Festival alongside the likes of Lou Reed, Kanye West etc. and was a bit surprised as I didn't know them at all. But then I checked their MySpace and realised they weren't bad, quite spunky. They'll inevitably get likened to The Gossip just because they have a female vocalist, but there's more of Meg White in her. They've got potential, by no means the finished article yet, but still quite enjoyable.
