Default My Morning Jacket

i got "Z"...really nice album, i don't know why , they remind me of radiohead......it's weird, i think someone mentioned them as alt.country? really? i have no idea.....
they go from very upbeat, sweet songs like "wordless chorus" that reminds me a bit of the coral " in the morning", through "gideon" reminiscent of bruce springsteen or U2, to "dondante" which reminds me very much of Peral jam's "black"....

Someone else said something about Radiohead and I was like "eh maybe" but not really, I did get alot of crazyness on the album though. Circus music at some points, and at others I thought it was Ray Charles.

Craziness. Though I will say an amazing album from one of the better indie bands out there.

This CD wasn't Alt country, but "It still moves" is.

I suppose I see the loose radiohead comparison. But I like radiohead and upon hearing about these guys, was very much looking forward to hearing them. I listened to "it still moves" and i dunno, the songs were too long and and their wasn't enough variance sound wise. I'll need to read the lyrics a bit more before I deem them crap offically, but upon first listen they don't seem like anything special.

Default My Morning Jacket

I uploaded this CD for my girlfriend (after having to download the whole discography) and figured I might as well put it up here if anyone wants it.

Also, if anyone else wants any of their other recordings, the discography will probably stay on my computer for about a week until I delete it.

Well finally!
Z is an awesome album, I'm sure you'll like it. Then right after that you should try Midlake, should go right with the Manc weather and frame of mind. But a word to the wise, remove all sharp objects and/or guns while listening to it.

Oh and top of the mornin' to ya!
