Tell you the truth, I was hoping the rest of England wasn't like London as far as the percentage of English speaking people are concerned. I thought we landed in Pakistan for a while, maybe that's just the area we stayed in ( arround Paddington sub. station? ).

I was thinking more along the lines of the entire fucking subway system falling on it's arse. Apparently, that shit happens every year. Plus, never a good thing to be stuck amidst half a million drunken people, literally not being able to move left or right.
