Like Bowie said, Dylan's voice is "like sand and glue"....I prefer that to Conor's lispy whine any day. haha

I know...like i said before...four winds and the mystic valley stuff were cool....so was his earlier material....i like conor's voice....but I prefer Dylan.....I guess I shouldn't make fun of Conor....how many suicide attempts is he up to now?

none... when he was depressed he wrote songs.

Lifted is pretty cool. The first song, The Big Picture sounds a lot like Daniel Johnston in terms of rhythm and the mood but the lyrics are much more eloquent than anything Dan could've written.

I love the line "And don't go blaming your knowledge on...Some. fruit. you. ate!"

It does seem like he pulls a lot of inspiration from Johnston, but trying to compare their lyrical ability would be arbitrary.
