Bright eyes songs you should never recommend to new listeners:
Coat Check Dream Song - it doesn't represent bright eyes on a whole, it mostly represents itself Lime Tree - I hear even current fans complaining about how annoying this song is because it builds and builds with no dramatic change like they were expecting. any song that begins a bright eyes album - because there's always a long usually annoying intro: A Spindle, a Darkness, a Fever, and a Necklace The Big Picture At the Bottom of Everything Time Code Clairaudients (Kill or Be Killed) Mirrors & Fevers |

That doesn't mean you should write off the entire song, At The Bottom Of Everything is one of the best songs off I'm Wide Awake in my opinion.. if you can't sit through his little minute long monologue then that's too bad.

i can, but what i'm sying is that a lot of people don't like listening to long intos. maybe getting it from Motion Sicknees would work, i don't think there's an intro on it for that.

I never said anything about new listeners. Those are just my favorites. And the intros dont make the song bad, even if there is a new listener. My first bright eyes song was At the Bottom of Everything. I liked it just fine |
