Fevers and Mirrors was the first album I had ever bought of Bright Eyes years and years ago and it did not disappoint.
Still one of the best albums I have heard because it related so well with what was going on with me at the time, still does, and Connor Oberst is some kind of god. If I could get my hands on him I would haha. But seriously, JESUS they have some amazing, heart to the floor lyrics. |

Bright Eyes is absolute trash. Conor Oberst has absolutely no lyrical or vocal talent and his music originates somewhere between the fat asscheeks of Pitchfork execs. The only thing worse than a Bright Eyes album is listening to Conor drone on for forty minutes about his pseudo-intellectual shit. Just listening to any of his songs makes me wonder how an idiot like that ever managed to persuade competent people that he was a good musician. And if he ever grows a prick big enough to fuck with I'll be the first to offer him an asshole.

If you're going to be trash someone at least get your insults straight. Pitchfork fucking hates Conor and are the first to criticize him about everything he does and give him poor reviews. I'm not even going to respond to the rest because you're obviously so stuck in your own blind bias you can't give credit where its due.

Look I can cite one review and then make a generalization from it too: Four Winds EP | Pitchfork
