Default Return To Cookie Mountain

Couldn't quite figure whether or not to post this in the Rock/Metal forum or here. But since TV On The Radio are definitely an Indie band, I'm sure it fits here all the same.

Anybody think highly of either this band or this highly acclaimed album of theirs? Personally I'm in two minds as to whether or not I should give it a go.

Views, anybody?

I`ve still yet to see whats so great about this band.

As for the album , well it`s OK. There are worse ways to spend an hour.

Well... I can't deny that I'm truly intrigued. Actually I often find it hard to understand why often you get these odd records, like five or so a year in particular, that virtually all professional reviewers agree are so phenomenally good, yet nobody else can figure out precisely why.

It boggles the mind.

It has a couple good songs, but they still haven't managed to live up to their first EP. If all the songs were the quality of say the top four songs on there, it would be an incredible album. As it stands, it's okay.

Nah, I ain't heard it either. What interests me is why others found it quite so compelling.
