Okaaay.

I don't like 'A weekend In the City' as much a 'Silent Alarm'
nowhere near as much actually, but i do like it.
i think the sound is totally different, it seems to me a bit more mature, and some of it is way more dancy but i prefer the old bloc party, it's more 'interesting' i guess or something and silent alarm is deffinately a better album.

hunting for witches, waiting for the 7:18, and on are deffinately my favorites of this new album.

I didn't like the last album, it bored me. And I heard from numerous people that the new album is worse. So I wont bother getting it.

i went to see bloc party a few weeks ago.
they played songs from both albums, and they were so good.
i think the new stuff is amazing live, and i'm starting to like the new album more and more when i listen to it.

i think its a great album. a real development on their post-punk/brit-pop sound from silent alarm. I think its superior, great production, great lyrics and all in all... bettter songs.

i liked weekend in the city, not as good as silent alarm though. second albums have a tendency to flop and i was nicely suprised about this one. hunting for witches definately the best track

It's not as good as silent alarm by a long way, and the lyrics such as "East London is a vampire" just annoyed me. But Hunting for Witches is a good song, one of the best on there.
