I think a track of theirs is on Shaun of the Dead. Anyways they're a really fun band.

Sneer 11-11-2006 11:27 AM

Mister Mental is indeed in Shaun of the Dead. Fun and original.

Thanks. You know you can put all the things you want to upload in folder right click, send to, zip file and then you don't have upload each individual song. Just saying because all your uploads I've seen have been individual songs and you asked not too long ago how to upload stuff.

Royal Society is one of my favourite albums of the last few years. Whens the new album out, and does anyone have any news of a tour?

Sneer 11-13-2006 05:19 AM

i think both albums are brilliant and there by far my favourite band of the last 5 years.

A third album is due early next year and you can hear four tracks i believe will be on it on there myspace page. As of tours, well i went to their comeback gig at madame Jo Jos in august and there was no talk of a tour, i assume they will tour next year but for now its just small gigs at quite low key venues.

And thanks swim.

Never really got into them except that song 'celebrate your mother' - what album was that off?

Sneer 05-04-2010 08:39 AM

Lol, looking back on this I said in 2006 that the third album is due out later that year. It's now 2010 and they still havent released it. APPARENTLY it is actually coming out this year, but I wouldnt be surprised if I'm sitting here in 2013 say 'yeah... apparently it's coming out this year'.

Still enjoy this band immensely.

Mojo 05-04-2010 08:43 AM

Yeah there was only an EP. The new album is apparantly due this month. I saw them live at the end of last year and they were still sounding pretty tight.

Sneer 05-04-2010 08:46 AM

This month?! Wowee, we shall see. I liked the direction In The Garden took, hopefully they'll explore that further. Looking forward to some London shows.

Mojo 05-04-2010 09:04 AM

Yeah apparantly so!

Oh man, I got really into their album "Horse of the Dog" and never really followed them after that. These guys are really quirky, I love it.

Bulldog 05-04-2010 04:07 PM

Amazing band. Haven't heard their EP just yet, but both their albums are fantastic, particularly the debut - easily one of the albums of the decade.

Favourite song would probably be this;

But, of course, that's liable to change.

Sneer 05-06-2010 07:01 AM

One of the catchiest songs ever, superb stuff.

Sneer 05-10-2010 02:30 PM

Here's a link for one of the songs to be featured on the new album. It's called Monsieur Cutts, and to me on first listen it sounds a lot like Amen.
