I absolutely love the harmonizing background vocals throughout the album.

I've been putting off listening to Veckatimest. It took me for ever to start to like Yellow House and I still don't care for Horn of Plenty but I've heard Two Weeks and Cheerleader and I think they're great songs. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint...

Personally I cannot see that this is anything less than the best art rock record in 5 years.

That being said, what is amazing is how it is definitely "art rock" but would be still be palatable to anyone who likes music. I have played this album for people who listen to country and they like it. Seriously a very broad appeal.

No sh1t. I played it to my mom. All she listens to is Billy Joel and Barry Manilow. Even SHE liked this album.

btw, whoever compared this brilliance to the extreme mediocrity and mundanity of Fleet Foxes needs to undergo disciplinary proceedings. Seriously...

While I LOVE the Fleet Foxes, I understand what you are saying. The two are nothing alike. I guess the only comparison would be having good harmonies. Other than that, they are miles apart in sound.
