Garage punk? I suppose. I just found out about these guys, I really like them. Boomerang is probaly my favorite song followed by Not A Problem.

Hoorah for lo-fi recordings. They're nothing extremely special, they're really nostalgic. The songs are pretty solid though.

Absolutely amazing live.

I have Let It Bloom. Pretty decent me thinks.

As do I. It's actually less noisy live.

The guitarist kept rambing incoherently into the microphone and spitting on himself. It was quite amusing.

I haven't heard about anyone posting or talking about the Black Lips lately so I decided to make a thread about them. What is your guys's opinion of them because they are definitely my favorite band right now?

DUDE. i totally love them. and introduced you to them. HIPPY HIPPY HOORAH! they are AMAZING live, and i love the dirty quality of their recordings. theyre kinda generic, but they pull it off in a ****in pimp way, and its fun. i love them a **** load.

I wasn't overly impressed by the last LP. They're (or it's?) not all that great.

Yeah I actually just saw them live and they were sick. Best concert I've ever been to.
