Either/Or is definitely his best work, I find his other albums to be a bit average.

I never get why people say that, XO and Figure 8 are so much better. Elliotts playing more different instruments on those, and its all arranged beautifully.

I have only heard Either/Or and XO. =(

Please explain to me why either/or stands out and is so much better then the rest, why does it polarise the rest of his back catalogue in such a startling manner?
