What do you think of their new single?

I recon 'Empire,' is brilliant and if that's anything to go by the upcoming album will be wicked.

i agree, it seems a bit less "pilled up rave" orientated, and more driving which is nice

i've heard the album and i liked it, i'll definately buy it and sink into its danceability in no-time

don't care much for the new single - but still looking much forward to the album!

No it`s not , I`m bored of bands ditching the stuff that made them good in the first place to make dull guitar rock :(

to be fair, its not dull at all, and they have allways had guitar in their songs so i just see it as a less obvious dance tune, but its definately still there

Their site gives a preview of the album and I think I'm going to wait until I buy the album to listen to the full thing but I've listened to the next single and that sounds great too. :D

I haven't heard their new song but if it's anything like Lost Souls Forever, I imagine I'll love it. :love:

I just watched that vid (and listened to the song :rolleyes: ). I like it a lot. But I still like Lost Sould Forever more.

I think the way that 'Empire,' has been produced is wicked too. :D

the new kasabian is ****in good ****! are you guys going to see them live this tour they're on in the states? i believe they are touring with Mew and One Thousand Pictures (****ing amazing band) up and coming*. i cant wait till LA . KASABIAN IS GOING TO ROCK THIS JOINT!

Empire is a pretty good album it's always nice to see growth.

Kasabian is better than french cheese.
And yet, I've still not bought the Empire album, I am truly the worst fan around :(

Empire is a pretty good album! a hell of an improvement from their debut because IMHO there wasnt much too it.

They rocked at t in the park! had the pet sounds tent goin f***in crazy!

listened to this a few more times in last week... it's dreadful!

It's okay, I can scratch this, I've now bought it and am loving it.
It's all good.

I thought their debut was terrible. Half-arsed vocals on top of a bass-line seemingly copied and pasted throughout the album and crowned with a directionless guitar. So im glad their second is an improvement. Its seems more focused and assured. I still look upon with similiar disdain to that of oasis.

seem underatted on here,one of my favourite bands, love everything theyve done. i think people unfairly tag them as 'lad rock' or whatever that stupid term is. really good and interesting band.

The missus is a big fan.
I listen to Velociraptor in the car a few times and got the impression I'd heard most of the songs before.
That's a polite way of saying that they are desperately unoriginal.

Well you are missing out then on some very good albums with their 3rd and 4th albums. I hate that they are lumped in as the new Oasis cause these guys are at least messing around with their sound and have turned into a fine band maybe not the second coming.
