The Futureheads
According to their website, the band is gonna be streaming a live feed from their recent LA show on AOL Music, i for one am stoked since they didn't play near my town on this tour
why would you be stoked? a live gig via the net is pointless...
I think thats actually kind of a good idea, if you cant be there, its the next best thing right?
yeah but when they don't come and play in my home town it is the best thing that i can get. it is better than watching recorded live videos that someone took with their cell phone or something
well going to a live gig is all about the sound....so watching them via your computer seems a bit pointless to me...i could just aswell be watching their videos or something...or even better, listening to the music really loud...
well i mean a lot of the live show is being able to see the band move around and express themselves, i think that it adds a lot to the listening aspect. there's no way that you can say that listening to a recorded piece of music is the same as watching the band jam on stage, even if you aren't actually there in person, next best thing
actually, i got over seeing the band in person...didn't really change my life....like i said, what makes gigs so much better than listening to a certain peice of music at home is the sound turned up more than you could ever do it yourself....
plus, i hate it when a band improvises too much....more often than not, i like the recorded stuff better.... |
i mean i feel like it is pointless to keep arguing this because clearly we just get different things out of music, which is totally cool, either way, people should still check the broadcast out because the band is great and who knows, you might enjoy it!
i'd watch, they seem a good band and from what i've heard from their live recordings they do well live too.
Saw them live about a month ago, i can confirm that they bloody rock. Haven't seen that many crowdsurfers in a while
