Default Nada Surf

Most people would put them into the shuffle of mediocore music but, I really like this band. Simple catchy riffs with good vocals. I don't think most people will find this band to be greatest band on a technical or sensational scale. That's kind of my appeal to them. I uploaded High Low because I think it's a damn good album. Recommended tracks are The Plan and Popular.

They achieved a lot more sucess over in britain than they did in America. I saw them live there a few years back.

At any rate, I think the song that made them as a popular as they are anywhere is Popular.
You've probably heard it. It's off their High/Low album.
That song's on my Ipod. That and Hollywood.

I also have their albums Let Go and Proximity Effect which I think are really good as well.
And Dispossession (or whatever it's called) is really good as well. Not their absolute best song but it does something for me.

Nada Surf went under the radar for me for a while, I never really gave them a chance since hearing their popular 700 years ago but I recently (2008) started listening to them and they are quickly becoming one of my ,admittedly many, favourite bands.

Stand out albums IMO:

Let Go
Weight is a Gift
Lucky

The song Popular (I think it's called that anyway) is a good laugh, but other than that they don't really do much for me. They're alright live though - saw them supporting the Vines in Cambridge way back when.
