I've heard, like, one song by each band (Wonderwall and Song 2). Based on those two, seemingly their most popular, I'd go with Blur, even though that's an unfair representation of their music.

Blah. Conceited pricks.

if you want to get a good place to start with blur, i would go with Modern Life Is Rubbish, however if you want their later stuff, i say 13.

the best of cd isnt a bad place either.

I agree, a Best Of is a good place to start with Blur. They had a number of good singles.

I'd say Parklife is the most hooky of their albums, but Modern Life Is Rubbish is almost as good. The Great Escape has a number of very strong tracks.

For Oasis, it's really all about What's The Story, Morning Glory? and Definitely, Maybe. After that, they declined a lot, in my opinion.

Anyone see Noel Gallagher get attacked in Toronto this weekend? He was knocked down from behind while performing at VirginFest.

Seems like a huge waste of money to pay that much for a ticket, just so you can knock down a Gallagher. Not to mention his coming legal bills...

Both fantastic. Although, I hear the new Oasis is nothing to write home about. I will say this, I like Blurs "tender"-- live version better than any single Oasis song. However, I think as a collective, I like Oasis better.
