Kula Shaker?? You can't be serious!! Liam was actually ripping off Ian Brown, Noel pointed him out to Liam at Spike Island in 1990 and told him that was how to do it! Although in the video for ''The Only One I Know'', from 1991, the resemblance is there, so how anyone could say Burgess ripped him off is beyond me.

I know why people don't like Oasis, but I will always love them. They made me want to listen to bands like The Who, The Beatles, The Stone Roses, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones. When I was ten years old I bought the Live Forever single and that made me start to listen to the music I still love today. I've almost every song they've recorded and there is very very few I don't like. Thats not a common occurrance for me with many artists.

I do like the good, the bad and the queen but don't really like the gorillaz. I agree with you on Think Thank!

Kula Shaker are insanely talented and a great band, especially for that song they had in the charts that consisted solely of foreign lyrics (Govinda).
Yeah, I dont think Liam Gallagher resembles Ian Brown in any way shape or form TBH.

As for the 'Only One I Know' video, yes the Charlatans were taking off the Roses in their early days but the thing about them is that they changed their style with every album they put out.
Just look at 'Tellin' Stories' which people would say was them ripping off Oasis, but the real fact is that Liam Gallagher copied Tim Burgess & then it just so happened that it was Oasis who hit the big time.

I dont totally hate Oasis.
I just despise them for all their arrogance & disrespect for music in general.
Also I find their music far too self indulgent at times.

Ill let you in on a wee secret.
I used to actually be a really big Oasis fan up till a couple of years ago when I stopped listening to them and started listening to the likes of Neil Young, Dylan & just exploring a lot more artists.

My attitude towards music in general has changed since I stopped listening to them.

I still like their B-Sides, although dont really bother to listen to them anymore.
The B Sides were always my favourite, especially 'Sad Song'.

Ive since learnt that their music is pretty shallow, the vocals pretty mediocre & just in general there are far too many more interesting, talented & better artists out there for me to be listening to Oasis anymore.

And to anyone with any knowledge of sanskrit it was a complete joke.

Well its still a really good song & to me Kula Shaker are pretty underrated. I always appreciate and respect artists who do stuff like that.
