They're definitely nowhere near as adventurous as Damon Albarn in his many musical guises, and I do go through spells of thinking they're pretty damn mediocre, but sometimes they just work really well (particularly for me, being a child of the 90s and all that), especially if you've gone a while without listening to them.

That said I still prefer Blur by a long shot.

Definitely Maybe is better than anything that Blur have ever done, but based on consistency, Blur are the better band. To me, Oasis are just a 'one album band' that kept on going, and were allowed to do so based upon the odd good single.

What ever single Oasis has out now is way too over played on the radio. At least where I'm from.

i like morning glory better than definitely maybe, and that wonderwall is the best oasis song.

Morning Glory is great album but not as great as its predecessor. Though it does have some of my fav songs by the band such as Hello, Morning Glory, Champagne Supernova, and Don't Look Back in Anger.

I like Wonderwall again now but I used to be SO bored of it, I couldnt stand it. Oasis even excluded it from their live sets for what was probably a good two or three years as Noel stated he couldn't bring himself to play it live anymore. They only started to play it again when Ryan Adams covered it and it sparked his interest again as he liked it so much. They then started to play it but play it differently which kind of means they were playing a cover of a cover of their own song which is more than a little odd to me.

Wonderwall's an ok song, personally I wouldn't really praise it any more than that though

I like when they play Wonderwall electric... much better than its acoustic counterpart.

To me it's always been best when Noel does it solo acoustic.

I've always liked Blur even before this whole "Britpop" thing became a thing... I liked "Charming Man" and "Countryhouse" a lot. Damon Albarn is awesome! Funny enough, I hated the Gorillaz... never liked them.

Oasis is okay... I think their reputation of being the "baddest" brothers just kind of added to their hype. I liked "Definitely Maybe" the best... then I felt like they just got big-headed afterwards.
