hmmm first impression of dragonslayer: more straightforward, less rewarding. overall a disappointment.

I too think it's not as good as the first 2, but it did grow to me in time.

I love Wolf Parade but never been able to get into these guys at all I'm afraid. There's just something about their sound I find annoying and overpowering, all sort of invasive stabby synth lines and the like.

its not vastly inferior. however, it isn't for everyone. its a grower too. best album is Random Spirit Lover.

Black Swan is definitely their best song.

I don't understand Dragonslayer.
