The new album is remarkable. Fits in well with their past works. Can't wait to see their Texas shows.
I saw S-K numerous times during their past tours. They are a live act not to be missed.

Yeah, last few weeks I've really been digging it. I miss some of the experimentation on the last album, though.

But, this is a collection of tightly written, tightly played rock songs. Some excellent stuff.

Favorite song is: No Anthems

My cousin's seeing them in Houston soon too. I'm so fucking pissed I'm not going with her. I have a feeling it'll be the concert to end every concert past, present, and future.

Just rented Dig Me Out from the local library. Liking it, might have to check out more of their stuff.

The Woods is probably their best, but you should check out the new one too

I just checked out the Woods for the first time recently, it was my first exposure to Sleater-Kinney, and I looooved it, really ambitious but really well done. I checked their new one too when it came out, it was good, I didn't fall in love with it like the Woods but it was also a lot more stripped back. They're pretty different albums and I don't have a background with their earlier stuff (besides "I wanna be your joey ramone" don't ask me why i uncapitalized it) so that might be why I didn't get into it as much, but they're definitely someone I'll be checking into further.
