From The Kinks to the Jam, then through The Smiths and up to present day with The Arctic Monkeys. Great lyrically and very British.
I know The Smiths was an important band to the English. I've been reading this book about British popular culture after World War 2 and The Smiths comes up in the text quite often saying their music told about the longing of the earlier decades of the 20th century. I've also been listening to The Kinks and Arctic Monkeys. Thanks for welcoming me.
