I'm going to be honest, I don't understand all the love that Frankly Mr Shankly gets, I've always found it very boring. Maybe I'm missing something?

I don't mind it now but I really used to hate that song.

It was initially my favorite song on TQID, but then I realized that every song on it is amazing.

Looking too deep, expecting too much.

I do love The Smiths. They often get dismissed as miserable and depressing, and while these labels are not wrong, I think people who make these comments are missing a lot of the humour in the lyrics and the beauty of the music. Vicar in a Tutu, for example, is about as far from miserable as you can get. And despite the title, Cemetry Gates is positively jolly

I keep changing my mind between The Queen is Dead and The Smiths for which is their best album.

My favourite Smiths songs are That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore, There Is a Light That Never Goes Out, and I Know It's Over

Same here I Know It's Over has my favourite Morrissey lyric:

Oh mother, I can feel the soil falling over my head

Cemetry Gates is another of my favourite songs, the lyrics are just genuis, i don't think anyone else could pull off a song like that.

What a band, one of my favourites.

Johnny Marr, what a genius.

Mozza's lyrics as well.

The Queen Is Dead is one of my top 10 favourite albums.
