Lol, you think they were called original because they played a piano, what is "original" to you. Do you know other bands this century that are playing that kind of music?

There are only a few I could think of as similar. The Ditty Bops come the closest I think.

To me it just sounds like indie rock except they replaced the guitar with a piano. To pick a random song, "Girl Anachronism" to me sounds like a pretty normal indie rock/punk song except the piano, which I guess is "cabaret" but I don't really see anything too special about it.

I can't say I know of any other bands that are playing the exact same kind of music, but to me true originality is more than just playing a common genre with a bit of a twist, it's more about melding together various musical influences to craft something new and brilliant.

But, that's just my opinion. No need to bite my head off.

The album is really catchy. It touches on some interesting topics (as usual with the Dresden Dolls). I'm very satisfied with it.

yeah its true girl anachronism sounds like frank black became a woman and took up piano but thats one song amoungst a bunch that don't sound like that.

And at what point did I "bite your head off"? how about no need to hide behind fabricated peace offerings because you were asked to explain a baseless statement.

The "lol" bit kind of implied you were laughing in my face, but feel free to not take my posts so seriously. My peace offerings are genuine damn you!

well the "LOL" was based on me assuming you thought they were called original because they played piano.
