We all loved him in Faith No More, but the creative genius of Mike Patton is so much more than a song like "Epic" might imply. He is a pioneer, a revolutionary - and blatantly underappreciated. Show this bad boy some love by grabbing some music from his seemingly endless catalog of projects, including Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, Lovage, Tomahawk, his collaboration with master turntablists The X-Ecutioners, or his newest project, Peeping Tom, if you haven't already, and post your thoughts here.

Angel Dust is an ok album. Other than that Mike Patton was just plain bad.

Mike Patton is WORSE than just plain bad. His music is akin to having your ears raped by retarded, screaming baby llamas.

Disagree - he's a musical genius - had the privalige to talk to him after a Fantomas concert and his head is totally screwed on, a really good guy - was expecting to have a ****ed up conversation after seeing his antics on stage, but he was very easy to talk to. Amazed he had time to even bother talking to me.

I was asking him alot about Lovage (as this hadn't been released at the time) and he was answering all my questions.

His work over the years have been remarkable and he certainly keeps himself busy - everyone in the music industry wants to work with him.

Fantomas is incredible. Mr Bungle > most everything. His cd with Kaada is beyond amazing. *blows mike patton some more*

Mr. Bungle makes my ears tremble with enjoyment.

I can understand the hate for the sound of Pattons later work, I mean it took me ages to get into his vocals, but when you do you start to pick up how genious his vocals are.

And they really are that awesome, the timing, the ease at which they escalate to shriek and then back to little eerie whispers. It's a bloody diverse voicebox he's got.

And the music isn't bad eather;)

I prefer Fantomas to Mr Bungle, but both are scintilating projects.

Patton is a great vocalist, and never say otherwise, seriously.
