I started listening to them about 6 or 7 months ago...... I used to absolutely love Balloons. I used to listen to nothing else(witin reason obviously)... However, now i have come to the point where i am starting to think they are a bit similar. The drummers beats tend to have the same idea to them in every song, bleepy, jangly, bitty guitar is getting a bit repetitive. Still a really cool band tho. Would LOVE to see them live

They ahve been working on their new album out in Hawaii. They are trying to incorporate a beach feel into it.
Im in two minds as to wether they are going to come out with a record of the same strength as antidotes, but even so im still looking forward to it |

Views on the new album? It's growing on me with each listen.
As an aside does anyone have any of their E.P's? As I would love to give them a listen pre Antidotes.

I don't get u lot. A new album from a band that makes tracks that although not unfriendly to radio to the point of being obtuse, still make classy guitar Pop. I guess they are not trendy enough these days
Total Life Forever is a damn solid album.

Haven't gotten around to listening to it yet, I'd guess it's because the single (whatever it was) was rather underwhelming. I'll give it a go one of these days tho, I really liked Antidotes.
