I love this album.
Songs such as 'The Youngest Was the Most Loved' are so Smithesque, yet the album in general is so different to Morrissey's usual tale. He also appears to be getting some, which is unnerving in light of being able to count on him to be morose and celibate, but like I say, who wants to hear the same album over and over. It's really quite refreshing.

Refreshing definitely, but i can't help but squirm when he sings about 'explosive kegs inbetween his legs'....
I think its possibly his best solo album yet, i think its amazing. 'Life Is A Pigsty' (great name) is one of his finest masterpieces yet. |
