They were both great. Spiderland is so great it makes Tweez look bad in comparison, but if you actually listen to it it's still a great album. It's like a funky version of Big Black. Tweez has some good SONGS on it, but they just sound bad. Take Rhoda for instance, it's an amazing song on the Slint EP, but on Tweez it just sounds flat and boring.
The guitars sound amazingly shoddy too.
Darlene is the only song I really like listening to on Tweez.

I've been listening to big black and shellac a lot recently. i particularly love shellac, they just do it for me on so many levels. production wise i havent given him much attention.
