I like the album, but agree it's not as good as it could have been. Great for White to open up with a 'fuller' band behind him, but it suffers for not being entirely his. Two great musicians, caught between two posts perhaps.

The racounterus suck. their song steady as she goes is significantly better than just about anything the white stripes made, but it still sucks.

I just read in an interview with jack white in guitar world they're going to start working on a new album.

My favourite track is the closer Blue Veins! Classic.

Is anyone else digging Icky Thump? Probably their finest effort since White Blood Cells.

i saw them at acl last year. i can dig it.
i get to see white stripes for acl this year... or arcade fire ... same time, what to do!?
