Default DeVotchKa

Now, I think I could place them somewhere in indie. MAYBE. If not, I'll move the thread. Anyway, has anyone ever heard of DeVotchKa? They toured with Dresden Dolls at the end of 2005. They truely are a great band. Personally, I like the vocals. And the fact they sometimes use a tuba in place of a bass is great. Also, I had never seen a theremin being used in a band ever. It was a very elusive thing. Hope somebody's heard of them. I'm all alone here.

I'm glad they got the amazing exposure with that. Finally I could say I listen to DeVotchKa and they go, "where would I hear their stuff" and I could say "They did most of the soundtrack for Little Miss Sunshine." Makes me happy, they are amazing.

I'd give it a 4/5.
They are constantly getting more eccentric and diverse, and A Mad And Faithful Telling is no exception.

Along The Way, The Clockwise Witness, Transliterator, all great songs.
