okay i'm actually going to get off my arse now and sort some PS albums. just found a ten-track Primal Scream mix buried away (definitely came from MB) and it's a skull****. From C86 with 'gentle tuesday' to full-on baggy house with 'don't fight it, feel it'?? what were these guys munching on?

I don't think anyone can go wrong with Screamadelica.
I've been listening to it over the past two years every now and then...still not tired of it :D Come Together is definitely my favorite from it. I really do need to check out their other stuff though...any other recommendations other than Xtrmntr & Evil Heat? I'm intending on buying some. Rate your music says Vanishing Point. |
I'd go along with Vanishing Point.
Screamadelica is great but it has dated a little. |
it depends on how much you like house I guess, since (so wiki tells me) it came out of the band's forays into rave and ecstasy... i happen to love it. listening to it now it certainly seems very of it's era.

Here's the new video
Also on their website there is a free download available of them covering Hawkwind's Urban Guerilla. A song close to my heart because it's partly where my username comes from :D PRIMAL SCREAM |
