i dont think nirvana sounds like any of those bands which i have heard. nirvana were much more easily accessible.

Well Nirvana sound nothing like Mudhoney or Soundgarden but it`s still classed as grunge

not really. those bands dont call themselves grunge.i dont think of nirvana as a grunge band. the whole term "grunge" as applied to a musical genre is bollocks

Doesn`t matter , most people seem to.

i think it has been demonstrated many times that most people are idiots.

candlebox (ugh, im disgusted i live in a world where their existence is possible) are too considered grunge.

I'd like keep this as far from grunge as possible please.. there are some similarities but there are more differences in my opinion...

Well those bands are more shoegazer than noisepop , there is a crossover element but I was going for the heavier sounding bands.

ride is certainly more shoe-gaze than noise-pop so you lost me on that one!!

no matter - certainly not worth an arguement - haha!
