Grunge is more of a movement, if you were from Seattle in late 80's and early 90's and played rock music you were generally considered a grunge band. So yes how the bands sound is different, they all came from different musical backgrounds so there was a range from metal to punk to hard rock etc.

As for noise pop I know they're not British but my favourite is Sonic Youth.

Could please anyone give me some leads to the 1994 Southside Speedway by Fudge (the guys from Riverside). i cannot find the release anywhere, maye you guys can give me the directions like some torrent tracker or mail the audios to me?
