Part Chimp
this bands been bugging me for a while, partly due to the utterly weird video that creeps me out everytime i see it. the point, however, is i like their music, disjointed yet consistent, frenzied yet meticulous...if you get my drift? finding a link is bloody impossible on my comp so basdically..anyone like?

I just heard thriller...great album, these guys are amazing. Trying to find all of their albums as I type this. If anybody has Cup and doesn't mind upping it that would be greatly appreciated.
Check it out if you haven't yet. Trad Ex Ladyboy |

I don't like Thriller. On the other hand, I really like Cup. Should I just get the link to all of you?
To expand a bit. Dananananaykroyd reminds me, in a way, of the Part Chimp we get on Cup. If you listen to both, Hey Everyone sounds a lot like the latter with the distortion kept to a manageable level, and lacking the attempt to rupture your eardrums at a reasonable level. The album (Cup) was fast, loud, noisy, fractured, crazy, and owed as much to post-hardcore bands like At the Drive-In as it did hard rockers from the psychedelic 70's and noise rock acts. Thriller sort of dumbed the music down, so that the band now basically sounds very unoriginal, essentially rehashing loads of other heavy stoner noise acts that have come before. Needless to say, I was hugely disappointed. |
