Who will be this year's kaiser cheifs?

Maximo park? The ordinary boys? Arctic monkeys? The dead 60's?

you've obviously had your head stuck down a very deep hole for the past month. lets see, out of those four bands....tough one that.

im not sayin to pick out of those four

ok you obviously have had your head down that deep hole. i'll give you a hint. recently a group released an album, it sold 60,000 thousand in its first day (bearing in mind the record for fastest selling debut before this was oasis - 55,000 in one week), by its second day it had sold 120,000. by the end of the week they predict 200,000+ could be sold. forget this years bloody kaiser chiefs, think this decades oasis.....though i hope they dont turn out like those arse's.

maximo park and the dead 60's both put out an album last year and were not hyped up as the chiefs ( is still have no idea what the fuss is about them, i think even maximo park is better )

so far, i've seen mtv2 promoting forward russia a lot, so my vote goes to them.....i hope their album is as good as 12.....

Wolf Parade or Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, hopefully. I've heard CYHSY on the radio out here, which is a good sign.

i hope CYHSY do get success, their music deserves it. also, a couple of aussie bands to watch out for - wolf mother and morning after girls. plus i think hot chip are going to explode this year.

my money is on We Are Scientists.... seem to be getting a lot of good response lately...

em..i think we're talking about new bands, they already have an album and got a lot of promotion but weren't that big.....

they are getting bigger and stole the show at the all the NME shows by all accounts!

and to answer your question I think the next kaiser cheifs are either arctic monkeys or maybe even modest mouse. If you are into the indie stuff i would be sure to check those guys out.

I really think that The Rifles will do big things 3 years ago.

seriously now,if we are not stacked in "A Twilight Zone" episode and we are talking about 2009,I think White Lies are gonna be a big thing next year
