What are everyones thoughts on Guero, Beck's new album? I think it is brilliant, with not a bad song on there. I'd give it 9 out of 10, just for the fact that some of his lyrics contradict other lyrics in the same song.

9/10 for me too. Great album and he still sticks to his great original style.

He is possibly the most innovative and original solo singer of our generation.

i bought it (special edition no less) - listened once and haven't again.. will get it out and listen again!

Yeah well you should do. An album like that only comes around once in a lifetime. It is quality DEFINED.

Ooo, Beck is awesome! I love E-pro and Girl from that album. :tramp:

Que Onda Guero is fantastic, also look up Hell Yes. That is superb. Girl is good, but E-Pro gets a little yawnsome.

I didn't really like it, definately not his best.

I don't understand how you can't not like it. I don't own any of his previous work, but if it's somehow better than this then it must be brilliant. What would be the best Beck album then?

d be either Odelay, Mutations or Seachange, they're quite different records. I'd have to reccomend Odelay though, if you like Guero so much.

Yay for me, try and get the songs "Where It's At" and "Minus" off Odelay, I can't get enough of those tunes.

Has anyone heard Guerolito or whatever it's called? The album of remixes... I haven't heard it yet, anyone know if it's any good?
