Modest Mouse, Oasis, Suede, The Who are my thing..

is Muse considered indie??

No, i dont know what Muse are these days but one thing they are not is Indie.

Modest Mouse are considered indie,although I think alternative rock might be a better term at this point given their music has developed beyond the terms of "indie"

Oasis are straightforward mainstream rock,not a hint of indie about them beyond their time on Creation(a major-label subsidiary too)

Suede would be indie.

The Who straightforward classic rock

Muse:See comment on Oasis.
