Also yes all the bands mentioned are "indie".

But Ed Sheeran is not, his + album was released on Asylum and Atlantic, which aren't indies, but Warner child companies, and as you all know, Warner is one of the largest record companies in the world. Anyway, though Passenger is on an indie, his music is really hi-fi. I don't know about Ed Sheeran, I haven't really heard him, but you know, Warner.

No ! Damnit no.Billoard has dick to do with indie.Cause its mainstream.
Spend time with me or WWP,or Zero,Or Big 3,or JTF and we will give you indie enough to come out your earholes.

They can do whatever they like. It's not a til death do us part type gig brother.
As long as they arent in breech of contract its all good. They can switch lables as much as they like. Two you gotta think there are completely self made artists via the internet. No contract until after they did all the leg work.MIA prime exsample of someone who made their bones on their own, then snagged a perma gig.She I consider indie rap artist.

Anyone here like Broken Bells? It's the lead singer of the Shins side project.

It isn't "Indie" if it's "Mainstream. It certainly isn't alternative if it's mainstream. the idea you have to choose between Motley Crue and Nirvana is a lie that just does not want to die.
