There seems to be an Austrailian indie section missing in the main post , which isn`t right given the Nick Cave groupie I am.....
The Saints , Radio Birdman , The Birthday Party , The Go Betweens , The Divinyls , The Sleepy Jackson and i`m sure there`s a couple of grunge bands that could be added .... but I wouldn`t know about these things.

yer right - we should add an aussie list of bands... dunno about The Divinyls though!! heh
A few that I would want in aussie would also be - Sodastream and Midnight Oil and (dare I say) Jet (i hate 'em, but not the point...) |

I am just dissapointed that you left out Georgias Indie music scene.
Elephant 6 is now based out of Athens Georgia, spawning Neutral Milk Hotel. We have REM, not really indie anymore but, you know..... We have Danger Mouse, Japancakes. I could continue.... |
