Imogen Heap

She's so ****ing unique-sounding.. Her Hide and Seek song is amazing. Anyone else like her?

_Spinning_ 08-02-2006 06:22 PM

*bump*

Imogen Heap is quite good.
I jhust stumbled across the "i Megaphone" album on my computer and it's really quite nice.

Kind of "Relax" music...she also has an Accapella cover of Hallelujah.

If anyone is interested I could upload the album.

:)

The music is good. I just which it had a less produced sound.

DearJenny 08-03-2006 02:15 PM

I like Angry Angel and Candlelight. Its so relaxing.

_Spinning_ 08-03-2006 03:02 PM

I really like the song Come Here Boy.

Mmmm...Yeah.

DearJenny 08-03-2006 03:09 PM

Thanks for the whole I, Megaphone CD. I only had a few tracks from it.

_Spinning_ 08-03-2006 03:30 PM

No problem.

I got "Speak For Yourself" last night too :)

tikitorch 08-15-2006 02:57 PM

The whole CD is good if you kids buy whole CDs anymore. ;P

I saw her live in the spring, and she is kinda kooky and definitely entertaining. I think her solo stuff is better than the band stuff with Frou Frou.

IMOGEN is a shining star : )

I think she is amazing ; )

Would really like to see her live . I can easily imagine that she has a sense of humor with her on stage. People who deliver so honestly soulful songs tend to have the capability of also just relaxing the moments we´re given, , ,

I've only heard 'Hide and Seek' but I like it a lot. I should check her out some more.

Spike*Spiegel 12-29-2006 12:56 AM

i was downloading some music for my friend's ipod and imogen heap was on her list. i picked "loose ends" for just a quick listen, not expecting anything much, but i really really liked it. :D

Spike*Spiegel 01-24-2007 09:48 PM

I like it!

I really love Imogen Heap! She is great. Another artist that reminds me of her is Terra Naomi. Anyone else think so?

Peerbreed 09-18-2008 11:39 AM

I'm a fan of I Megaphone. My favorite songs are Angry Angel, Candlelight, Come Here Boy and Useless. The other songs are amazing as well. Soon I'll pick up "Speak for Yourself". I've heard a few tracks off that album and they are amazing as well.

redspice 09-29-2008 01:07 AM

I love their songs, Speeding Cars and Hide and Seek.

I think her speak for yourself is the best. every song on it is amazing

Tyler Durden 10-01-2008 12:45 PM

Hide And Seek, The Moment I Said It, and Daylight Robbery are my favorite.
Anyone know when her third album is coming out?

rebkranz 10-09-2008 10:29 AM

She has such an awesome voice, her version of Hallelujah is gorgeous. I'm also a HUGE Frou Frou fan, her band. They were on the Garden State Soundtrack.

TheBig3 10-09-2008 11:07 AM

You guys should try "come here boy" from her pre-signed days when she was at some academy in london. Its a pretty impressive song I think.

misspoptart 02-13-2013 02:24 AM

I know this a very old thread but that's the reason I'm bumping it, would be cool to get a discussion going about her. She supposedly has a new album coming out this year (fingers crossed).

Also, no one has talked about her 2009 album Ellipse, which has my favorite track by her on it, "Canvas."

I also LOVED what she did for the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack, although it was quite produced. :/ Still, captured the feel of the film.

Did anyone else listen to/like Ellipse?
