Yeah, I think the reason I like them so much is because I can sing along easily. My favorite song of theirs could be their cover of 'We will become silhouettes'

Does anyone know if there is a live album by them available? I know that iTunes has an exclusive with roughly five songs I believe, but I'd prefer to purchase an actual album of them live.

By the way, apparently they have left Sub Pop to release their fourth album on Mercer's label. Interesting. Lots of other jargon, but that is the gist.

Oh sweet. Thanks.

I love the Shins. SOme of my fave songs by them are Australia, Sleeping Lessons, Phantom Limb, New Slang, and Girl Inform Me.

All three albums are great from beginning to end no doubt about it but I can't help but think they're regressing as musicians. For me anyway each album has less interesting qualities than the last.

I got all three albums, and have to say, that Mercer has some of the most amazing vocals, I have ever heard. Hard to choose only a few favorite songs by them, but would have to go with Australia, Phantom Limb, Caring is Creepy, and So Says I. I would love to see them in concert though!

I agree with this. The first album was my favorite and I think the best one. I enjoyed the second one almost as much. I liked the third one too, but, not as much as the first or second.

Know Your Onion might be my favorite song by them at the moment.

I don't think anything is announced yet, unfortunately. However, if you are looking for something new, related to The Shins, you can check out Flake Music, which are The Shins before they became The Shins. The album that I have by Flake Music is When You Land Here, It's Time To Return and it is pretty good. You should check it out.
