I love this band, I own all their albums. I've also got their latest one to be released in 2007, but I haven't listened to it much. This inspires me to go listen to it...

Not sure if I'd call them folk, exactly.

Thread moved to Indie...hopefully with no objections.

This mans voice...it haunts my head.
Unique, but I've heard 'this type voice' before...just can't put my finger on it.

Album cover art.

Oh I like their cover art, especially the one for 'Chutes Too Narrow' it's all cut away like a landscape and everything, so cool.

I might be the only one who can't get into them.

I think it's a bit too "nursery rhyme" like for me. The qwerky sounds on Red Rabbits and soft eerie jangles on tracks like Sleeping Lessons aren't quite me. The way the guy sings in some places reminds me of Jack White for some reason too, but theres nothing wrong with that.

The Beach Boys crops to mind when I listen...every time, but I can't figure out why.

I really like this band. They chill me out and quiet the mind.
The songs seem to blend seemlessly, from one to the other.

I saw the art work for the first time yesterday and it's by far the best they've ever.
