I've only ever heard one song by the Shins, and I love it. Caring is Creepy? My friend burnt me a CD for my birthday, and that was on it. Is their other stuff just as good?

yes The Shins have lots of good songs.. i prefer the album... oh, inverted world from 2001.. i adore that album.. which reminds me i haven't listened to it in a while.. i think you will like it.

I do like them, but I find that they're stuff is pretty repetitive. I can't listen to one of their albums start to finish. It's not so much that they only have a few good songs, it's more that all of their songs sound so similar that I get bored with them after a while.

i think they sound repetative at frist when you don't really know the lyrics 100%.. but when you become obsessed like me you can easily tell how different each song really is!

me-sa likey them too...'i've got chutes too narrow' which i love, heard a few tracks off 'oh, inverted world' not bad....should get that one too...hmm
