Best Albums of '05
Another year in the ****ter, feel free to list your favorite albums of this year,
these would have to be my top 10. 1. I'm Wide Awake It's Morning - Bright Eyes - Sucker for this man, and this is his best effort yet 2. Separation Sunday - The Hold Steady - Interesting Lyrics, More defined sound than first album 3. The Best Party Ever - The Boy Least likely to - Perfect 'Blissful" sound, and lyrics to boot 4. Picturasque The Decemberists - Big fan of these guys and they keep getting better 5. Neil Young - Praire Wind - What can I say . . it's Neil .. and he kicks ass. 6. Illionoise - Sufjan Stevens - Very Creative and relatively unique stuff 7. Out of Exile - Audioslave - I'm a fool for cornelle's voice and morello's guitar, no matter how uninspired the music they put out may seem 8. With Teeth - Nine Inch Nails - Better sounding and Better lyriically than last effort "the fragile" 9. Get behind me Satan - The White Stripes - Different Style than old school stripes, still quality music 10.Lullibies to Paraylze - Queens of the Stone Age - Goood sounding Rock, nothing mindblowing but i dig their sound and the Lyrics at the least aren't cheesy like most ' rock ' bands today Honorable Mention - Late Registration - Kanye West - Sorry Mr.West
