conor oberst is the most talented lyricist i've ever heard. His stuff is amazing. I have all his cd's and know almost every one of his songs by heart. My favorite album is fevers and mirrors. I also love his desaparecidos stuff. Plus, he's the hottest person alive...and i lovelovelove him.

Connor is a pretentious prat and I would personally rather be prison raped than listen to it. This is just my opinion however, if you people enjoy it more power to you.Keep it EVIL

his quotes from Glastonbury

"John Peel was a cokehead. I suppose that's why I like him; we have a lot in common,"

"what am I doing? Making poverty history, that's what kids... This next song is definitely going to make poverty history. Poverty – you're ****ed!"

he also bemoaned the prices at glasto (fair point actually) and asked everyone to get their credit cards and bang them together over his head...

here's his apology - http://www.nme.com/news/112852.htm

I would have watched him but due to his slot being moved I missed him... I would have been one of the few people laughing about it I think in retrospect

Hahaha. This made me laugh. And yet I still want him.

I always lose a little respect for people who say outrageous things and then apologise for them. I adore John Peel and everything he gave to us, but seriously if you're gonna say something with a microphone and god knows how many people in front of you at least stand by it, don't act all confident when you're in the limelight then ****ing apologise for it when the show's over and the lights are out.
