seen the Dears twice and Interpol once. Interpol's first album was amazing and a breath of fresh air (A must for indie fans I feel)... they've lost some of their steam on the 2nd album but it's worth getting for sure!

The Dears are an odd one... I quite like them, and live they are very good (better than Interpol for instance) but are a bit more an aquired taste... He can get downright whiney (ie Morrissey) at times... Last album I like a lot and still have yet to listen to their earlier stuff much...
