Unreleased tracks? I must confess, you've sparked my interest.

I think I might actually like You Made Me Realize as much as Loveless, and the Sunny Sundae Smile EP is up there as well. Not quite as shoegazey, but it's got a bubblegum pop sound I really like that shows a different side of the band. I have never heard Geek! and don't like This Is Your Bloody Valentine very much. The other EPs are alright, Glider was decent and Tremolo didn't do too much for me. Ecstasy and Wine are alright. Really, the things by MBV that I find myself regularly listening to are just Loveless and the first 2 EPs I mentioned. A great shoegazing band, and I'm glad they evolved their sound from the post punk/gothic sound they started as.

I don't think they're ever be a third lbum,considering we were supposed to have a compilation of unreleased post-Loveless stuff ages ago.

You dont listen to Isn't Anything? One of the best British (and/or Irish) albums of the 80's in my opinion.

I do, I'll pull it out occasionally, but not nearly as much as the other 3. Not that it's a bad album, just not what comes to mind regularly when I want to hear some MBV.

I really dig MBV, but I am much a bigger fan of The Jesus and Marry Chain, and Slowdive, when it comes to shoegaze. MBV would probably rank 5th, behind the already mentioned groups, and Asobi Seksu and Alcest(Who might not be considered Shoegaze by all, but they are by me)

^^^^ MBV behind Asobi Seksu?? Asobi Seksu are great but they do sound like they're trying to be MBV at times. And James Hanna pretty much wants to be Kevin Shields. So placing them in that order is slightly baffling.

I think Citrus is a much more enjoyable album that loveless. Nothing MBV has made can compare to Thursday imo. I have heard no other album by Seksu, but from Citrus alone I can not see how you would think that they are trying to be MBV at all, besides the fact that they have shoegaze elements. I would much sooner compare them to Cocteau Twins. I put them in that order, because it is the order in which I enjoy the music the bands make. How the guitarist from one band is ripping off the works of the guitarist from the other, makes little difference to me in that regard.

I think i hear more of a Slowdive influence in Citrus than a MBV one.
By the way, the one thing that sucks about MBV is that people constantly mix them up with Bullet For My Valentine...which is criminal.
Loveless = Win.

And the fact that the name might appeal to these kinds of kids...
