I just don't like their music is all, that was the first time I've said anything bad about Coldplay actually. It's not like I bash them daily...

I got Loveless and I liked it but...
It's just not as great to me as everyone makes it seem.

I took me awhile to fully appreciate it... don't force yourself.

if its indeed your first listen, forget about it.

it took me at least 5 listens. the album gets better if you can anticipate every moment.

i started loving it by chance when i lied on my bed and listened to the album from start to finish. it literally stunned me.

you have to be at the right place at the right time. give it time.

It took me a long ass time... I gave it 5 or 6 listens and thought it was ok but not one of the all time greats. Then one day out of the blue I just really wanted to hear the song "When You Sleep" for no particular reason and the whole album just clicked. Same thing happened for me with The Smiths and How Soon is Now actually...

That's the best song on the album, although I overlistened to it a bit.

When I first heard Loveless 95% of my tastes were rooted in commercial classic rock and grunge, so needless to say it was the strangest fucking thing I had ever heard, but it intrigued me enough to keep listening and fall in love with it.

Yeah, When You Sleep is my favorite from Loveless as well. Really dreamy song obviously.

"To Here Knows When" is my favorite song on "Loveless" and my favorite song by MBV...

I'm split between "When You Sleep," "Come in Alone," "Sometimes" and, from Isn't Anything, "Several Girls Galore."
