One of the greatest bands ever. MBV has influenced millions of bands and have inovated like a few bands in the history of music. Great cheers to the band!

My Bloody Valentine is another favourite of mine. Gorgeous, just so sonically beautiful. Easily my favourite shoegaze band.

Ride, Lush and Secret Shine are in the next tier, but My Bloody Valentine is simply the best.

Lush is underrated imo all the love goes straight to MBV

I agree Lush is underrated, but I think Secret Shine is even more so. Lush is pretty well known among those into shoegaze, but Secret Shine has fallen through the cracks despite having very similar quality, in my opinion.

Lush had two distinct stages, though. The earlier stuff was shoegaze, in my opinion, and their later stuff was Britpop.

I think if wanted to get someone into shoegaze you'd give them Loveless and not Spooky.
